2. somehow; barely; just barely
Indicates that something was accomplished with difficulty or just barely managed.

NUANCE:
どうやら suggests the speaker has some evidence but isn't completely certain. It's softer than はっきり (clearly) but more confident than もしかしたら (perhaps).
