Watch out
The godan verb ほころぶ (綻ぶ) has the same three meanings and is the more common verb for faces and buds (顔がほころぶ). Forms with ん belong to ほころぶ (綻んだ, 綻んで); forms with び belong to 綻びる (綻びた, 綻びて).
