Used to single out one item from a group as being particularly notable. Slightly more formal than 特に.
とりわけ印象(いんしょう)(のこ)ったのは最後(さいご)場面(ばめん)だ。
What was especially memorable was the final scene.
果物(くだもの)(なか)で、とりわけりんごが()きだ。
Among fruits, I like apples in particular.
今年(ことし)(ふゆ)はとりわけ(さむ)く、(ゆき)(おお)かった。
This winter was especially cold, and there was a lot of snow too.

とりわけ singles out one thing from a group as particularly noteworthy. Can be written as ()()け in kanji, but the hiragana form is more common.
