Rescheduling something to an earlier date or time than originally planned. Commonly used in business and project management contexts.

天候の悪化が予想されるため、収穫を前倒しで行うことにした。
Because worsening weather is expected, we decided to move the harvest forward.
Often used with にする or で to form adverbial phrases: 前倒しにする (to move something up), 前倒しで (on a moved-up schedule). Very common in business Japanese, especially when discussing project timelines or policy implementation.
The opposite concept is 先送り (postponement, pushing back).
