A second-person pronoun expressing strong anger, contempt, or hostility toward the listener. Despite its kanji containing 貴 (noble) and 様 (honorable), it has shifted to become one of the most aggressive ways to say 'you' in modern Japanese. Commonly heard in anime, manga, and period dramas.
貴様(きさま)、何(なに)をした！
You! What have you done!
貴様(きさま)に言(い)われたくない。
I don't want to hear that from you.
貴様(きさま)のようなやつに負(ま)けるわけにはいかない。
There's no way I can lose to someone like you.

Historically, 貴様(きさま) was a respectful form of address (the kanji mean "noble" + "honorable"). Over centuries it underwent pejoration and is now extremely rude. In real life, using 貴様(きさま) signals intense anger and is likely to provoke a confrontation. It is very common in fiction (manga, anime, samurai dramas) where characters use it in battle or heated arguments.

Do not confuse with polite-sounding kanji — learners should never use this word in normal conversation.
