Usage: SENSES 1 and 2 come from the Buddhist idea of "no-mind," a state free of ego and attachment; in martial arts the ideal is reaching 無心(むしん). SENSE 3 is a different use: 無心(むしん)する takes を for what is asked for, and implies a shameless or repeated request, usually for money.
