おまけに

A conjunction used to pile on additional information, typically something negative or undesirable that compounds the preceding statement. While it can appear with positive additions, it is most naturally used when listing unfortunate or inconvenient circumstances.

Usage

• Typically begins a new sentence or follows a comma
• Most natural when the added information makes the situation worse
• Can also be used for neutral or positive additions, but this is less common
