Composed of 拝 (humble prefix: to humbly do) + 承 (to receive, to hear). One of the most formal acknowledgment expressions in Japanese. Used almost exclusively in business correspondence and formal written communication.
REGISTER:
This is extremely formal and humble. In everyday business, 承知しました or 了解しました are more typical. 拝承 signals maximum respect and deference.
