Describes acting unfazed when one should feel embarrassed or guilty:
- しれっとした顔 (a nonchalant face)
- しれっと嘘をつく (to lie brazenly)
- しれっと現れる (to appear as if nothing happened)
- しれっと言う (to say coolly/brazenly)
Often implies slight criticism or amazement at someone's audacity or lack of shame. It can be used negatively, of shameless behavior, or with grudging admiration for someone's composure.

A colloquial word, at home in conversation, blogs, and social media. It does not appear in formal writing; 平然と is the written equivalent.
