1. to reveal, to expose, to spill (a secret)
To disclose information that was supposed to be kept secret, often carelessly or deliberately.
秘密(ひみつ)ばらさないで
Don't reveal the secret, okay?
A friend spilled the plans for the surprise party.
I was afraid of being found out, so I confessed everything myself.
2. to dismantle, to take apart
To break something down into its component parts; to disassemble a machine or structure.
I dismantled the engine and inspected it.
I took apart an old computer and removed the parts.
I'm good at taking machines apart, but bad at putting them back together.

Usage

Both senses are informal/casual. Sense 1 (revealing secrets) is the more common usage in everyday conversation.
