To turn one's gaze toward something, or to show interest in something. Most commonly used in the negative form 見向きもしない (to not even glance at, to completely ignore).
誰も見向きもしなかった。
Nobody even looked.
あの店は客に見向きもされない。
That shop is completely ignored by customers.
安い商品には見向きもせず、高級品ばかり買う。
Without even glancing at cheap products, they only buy luxury items.
USAGE:
Almost always used in the negative pattern 見向きもしない, meaning "to not pay the slightest attention to" or "to completely ignore." The affirmative form is rarely used.
