She works hard at practice every day.
選手(せんしゅ)たちは優勝(ゆうしょう)目指(めざ)して日々(ひび)トレーニングに(はげ)んでいる。
The athletes work hard at training every day, aiming for the championship.

Godan verb (む row: (はげ)む → (はげ)まない → (はげ)んで). Takes the pattern ~に(はげ)む (to devote oneself to ~). The activity one works on is marked with に.

Not to be confused with the transitive form (はげ)ます (to encourage someone).
