An interrogative word used to ask which month of the year something occurs in or relates to. One of the most basic question words for dates in Japanese.
誕生日(たんじょうび)何月(なんがつ)ですか。
What month is your birthday?

何月(なんがつ)何日(なんにち)(とど)くか、まだ連絡(れんらく)()ていない。
