昼(ひる)頃(ごろ)電話(でんわ)します。

I'll call around noon.

USAGE:
Attaches directly to time expressions without particles.

EXAMPLES:

七時(しちじ)頃(ごろ): around 7 o'clock
昼(ひる)頃(ごろ): around noon
来週(らいしゅう)頃(ごろ): around next week
子供(こども)の頃(ころ): when I was a child

COMPARISON:

頃(ごろ): approximate time (suffix)
ぐらい/くらい: approximate amount/degree
頃(ごろ) is more natural for clock times

NOTE:
Reading is ごろ as suffix, but ころ in 頃(ころ)に or standalone.
