The total count of items measured with the counter 台, such as cars, computers, televisions, and other machines or large equipment.
車(くるま)の台数(だいすう)が増(ふ)えた。
The number of cars increased.
駐車場(ちゅうしゃじょう)の台数(だいすう)には限(かぎ)りがある。
The parking lot has a limited number of spaces (for cars).
