Reading someone's message (as shown by the read receipt) but not replying. Originally associated with LINE's 既読 (read) indicator, now used broadly for any messaging app.

Etymology
既読 (already read) + スルー (through, from English "through" meaning to ignore/let pass).
Usage
Originated with the LINE messaging app, which shows 既読 next to messages that have been read. Used with する: 既読スルーする.
