USAGE:
Major Japanese newspapers publish both a 朝刊(ちょうかん) (morning edition) and a 夕刊(ゆうかん) (evening edition). Subscribers can choose to receive both or just the 朝刊(ちょうかん). The morning edition is the larger of the two and contains the main news of the day.
