Indicates that a parking lot has no available spaces. Commonly seen on signs at parking facilities.
駐車場(ちゅうしゃじょう)満車(まんしゃ)だ。

満車(まんしゃ)だったので、(べつ)駐車場(ちゅうしゃじょう)(さが)した。

FORMATION:
(まん) (full) + (しゃ) (vehicle). Literally "full of cars."

USAGE:
Seen on electronic signs at parking garages and lots. The opposite is 空車(くうしゃ) (spaces available). Also used for taxis: 空車(くうしゃ) means available for hire, while 満車(まんしゃ) is not typically used for taxis (use 回送(かいそう) for off-duty).
