Describes an outcome that follows naturally from the way things are, without anyone forcing it. Literary and somewhat elevated; common in essays, aphorisms, and formal speech.
Also written 自ずから. The literary variant of おのずと, with which it is interchangeable in most contexts; おのずから sounds a shade more formal and is preferred in writing.
