In Japanese, スタッフ can refer to a single person or a group: スタッフの一人(ひとり) (one of the staff), スタッフ全員(ぜんいん) (all staff members). It is commonly used in entertainment, retail, events, and hospitality.

For restaurant and hotel staff, 従業員(じゅうぎょういん) is a more formal alternative.
