To naturally possess or receive something desirable, such as talent, good conditions, or favorable circumstances. Implies the good fortune was not entirely earned through effort.

天気(てんき)に恵(めぐ)まれた。

We were blessed with good weather.

才能(さいのう)に恵(めぐ)まれた子(こ)どもだ。

A child blessed with talent.

恵(めぐ)まれた環境(かんきょう)で育(そだ)ったからといって、必(かなら)ずしも幸(しあわ)せとは限(かぎ)らない。

Just because you grew up in fortunate circumstances doesn't necessarily mean you're happy.

恵(めぐ)まれる is the passive form of 恵(めぐ)む (to bless, to bestow), but is used far more frequently than the active form.
