Marks a reason that the speaker then denies as sufficient. It attaches to a plain-form clause and is almost always followed by a negative conclusion such as わけではない, とは限らない, or a plain negative verb.
Usage
The following clause must be a denial — leaving it positive produces an ungrammatical sentence. In casual speech the form is shortened to からって.

- 〜からといって〜とは限らない: it isn't necessarily the case that ...
