Of superior quality. Used to describe materials, products, content, or services that are of a high standard. Functions both as a noun and as a modifier with な or の.

良質のたんぱく質を含む食品を意識的に選んでいる。
I consciously choose foods that contain high-quality protein.
USAGE:
Can be used with either な or の as a modifier: 良質な素材 or 良質の素材 (high-quality material). Both are natural, though な is slightly more common.
The opposite is 粗悪 (inferior quality) or 低品質 (low quality). Compared to 高品質 (high-quality), 良質 sounds slightly warmer and less technical.
