The 一万円札 is the highest denomination of Japanese currency. Colloquially called 万札. As of 2024, the bill features 渋沢栄一, known as the father of Japanese capitalism. The previous design (1984-2024) featured 福沢諭吉, the founder of Keio University, and was informally called a 諭吉.
