Two people riding together on a vehicle meant primarily for one, such as a bicycle or motorcycle. Compound of 二人(ふたり) (two people) + 乗(の)り (riding).
自転車(じてんしゃ)の二人乗(ふたりの)りは危(あぶ)ない。

Carrying a passenger on a vehicle designed mainly for one rider. Often appears in safety and traffic-rule contexts, since 自転車(じてんしゃ) (bicycle) double-riding and 原付(げんつき) (50cc moped) double-riding are illegal in Japan.
