A large, very sweet citrus variety identified by a distinctive bump (デコ) at the top. A hybrid of ponkan and a Kiyomi orange, mostly grown in Kumamoto and Ehime.

The name combines デコ (bump) + ポン (from ポンカン, one of the parent varieties). Officially the variety is 不知火(しらぬい); デコポン is a registered brand name for the highest-grade fruit. In daily speech, almost everyone uses デコポン regardless of grade.
