A medical term for the overproduction of oil by the skin's sebaceous glands, especially on the scalp, face, and chest. It appears almost entirely in compounds and in a doctor's or pharmacist's vocabulary rather than in everyday speech.
脂漏(しろう)が原因(げんいん)らしい。

Written with 脂(あぶら) (fat, oil) plus 漏(ろう) (leaking), so literally "oil leakage." It is clinical vocabulary — in ordinary conversation people say 脂(あぶら)っぽい (oily) instead.
