USAGE:

  • Often abbreviated as L.O. on menus and signs
  • Typically set 30-60 minutes before 閉店(へいてん) (closing time)

  • Applies separately to food and drinks at some establishments: ドリンクラストオーダー (drink last order)

NOTE:
Not used in English-speaking countries. The English equivalent would be "last call" (for drinks) or simply informing customers that the kitchen is closing.
