The counter 分(ふん/ぷん) for minutes has variable pronunciation: 一(いっ)分(ぷん), 二(に)分(ふん), 三(さん)分(ぷん), 四(よん)分(ぷん), 五(ご)分(ふん), 六(ろっ)分(ぷん), 七(なな)分(ふん), 八(はっ)分(ぷん), 九(きゅう)分(ふん), 十(じゅっ)分(ぷん). Numbers 1, 3, 4, 6, 8, 10 use ぷん; others use ふん. Some numbers also change their reading (いっ, ろっ, はっ, じゅっ).
