A fitness-test exercise in which the participant rapidly jumps sideways between marked lines on the floor, commonly used in Japanese schools to measure agility and quickness.

Composed of 反復 (repetition) + 横 (side) + 跳び (jumping). A specific fitness-test exercise where the participant stands over a center line and jumps sideways to touch lines 100 cm on either side, repeating as many times as possible within a set time (usually 20 seconds).
