The one geographically closest to a given location, usually one's home, workplace, or current spot. Almost always used attributively before a noun, especially (えき) (station).

Almost exclusively used attributively, in the pattern 最寄(もよ)りの + noun. Note the irregular reading もより (not さいき or さいよ). One of the most useful directions/location words for daily life in Japan.
