Usage

Always followed by a noun. Before a verb or adjective the adverbial form そのように is used instead: そのように考(かんが)えています (I think along those lines).

Common collocations

• そのような場合(ばあい): in such a case
• そのようなこと: such a thing
• そのような方(かた): a person of that sort (polite)
