Says that the result will be the same whichever of the options is taken, so the choice does not matter. The casual counterpart of どのみち, common in spoken Japanese.
どっちみち間(ま)に合(あ)わない。
We won't make it either way.
どっちみち買(か)うなら、早(はや)いほうがいい。
If you're going to buy it anyway, sooner is better.
バスでも電車(でんしゃ)でも、どっちみち一時間(いちじかん)はかかるから慌(あわ)てなくていい。
Bus or train, it takes an hour either way, so there's no need to rush.

Usage

From どっち (which of two) plus 道(みち) (road) — "whichever road." It comes at the head of the clause and often precedes a resigned or matter-of-fact conclusion. Casual: use いずれにしても or どのみち in writing and formal speech.
