BARBERSHOP vs HAIR SALON:
- 床屋/理髪店: barbershop (traditionally for men)
- 美容院/美容室: hair salon (originally for women, now unisex)
COMMON PATTERNS:
- 床屋に行く: to go to the barber
- 床屋で髪を切る: to get a haircut at the barber
Note: Younger generations often use 美容院 regardless of gender. 床屋 can sound slightly old-fashioned.
