1. official residence (of a prime minister, governor, etc.)

The official residence provided to a high-ranking government official. In Japan, most commonly refers to the Prime Minister's Official Residence.

首相(しゅしょう)官邸(かんてい)で記者会見(きしゃかいけん)が行(おこな)われた。
