USAGE:
The transitive counterpart of 悩む (to worry, to be troubled). While 悩む describes the person experiencing worry, 悩ます describes what causes the worry. Very often used in the passive form 悩まされる (to be troubled by).
GRAMMAR:
Godan verb ending in す. Transitive — takes を for the person being troubled: Xを悩ます. The passive 悩まされる with に marks the cause: Xに悩まされる.
