Solidly established and not easily shaken or changed. Used to describe beliefs, positions, determination, or status that are rock-solid.

He faced the difficulties with unwavering determination.

USAGE:
Almost always used in the forms 確固(かっこ)たる (before nouns) or 確固(かっこ)として (adverbially). This is a たる-adjective and does not take な. Very formal and literary in tone.
