Blooming scale

Japanese cherry blossom reports use a scale to describe bloom progress: 一分咲(いちぶざ)き (10%) → 三分咲(さんぶざ)き (30%) → 五分咲(ごぶざ)き (50%) → 七分咲(しちぶざ)き (70%) → 満開(まんかい) (full bloom) → 散(ち)り始(はじ)め (starting to fall). This scale is widely used in cherry blossom forecasts (桜(さくら)前線(ぜんせん)).
