In geometry, the angle formed inside a polygon at one of its vertices. The interior angles of a triangle sum to 180°; for an n-gon the sum is 180°×(n−2).

inside corner of the strike zone (baseball)
In baseball, the side of the strike zone closer to the batter. Pitchers throw a 内角 to back the batter off the plate.
Compound of 内 (inside) + 角 (angle / corner). The geometric sense is by far the more common one; the baseball sense is a specialized extension. Not to be confused with the homophone 内閣 (the Cabinet).
