kick the can (a children's outdoor game)
A traditional children's outdoor game combining hide-and-seek and tag. An empty can is placed in the open; the player who is "it" guards it while finding the others, but anyone can free the captured players by kicking the can before being caught.
A traditional outdoor children's game, a variant of hide-and-seek in which an empty can serves as the home base. Kicking the can resets the round and rescues captured players.
