Describes something that can be done without much effort or difficulty. More formal and literary than やさしい or 簡単.
たやすいことではない。

You can't easily change habits built up over many years.
たやすい can also be written as 容易い. It is more formal than 簡単 or やさしい and is often used in negative constructions to emphasize difficulty.
