A state where two or more things match, agree, or are in conformity with each other. Used for opinions, conditions, evidence, etc.

Because the two companies' policies were in accord, the business partnership was realized.
USAGE:
A formal word commonly used in business, legal, and analytical contexts. The pattern ~と合致する means "to be in agreement with ~" or "to match ~." More formal than 一致 (agreement, match).
