Usage

Used for both physical addresses on envelopes and packages, and for email recipients. In email software, the 宛先(あてさき) field corresponds to the "To:" field. The opposite — the sender's address — is 差出人(さしだしにん) (sender) or 送(おく)り主(ぬし) (sender).
