1.
travel destination, place one is visiting
The place where one is staying or visiting while traveling. Emphasizes the destination as experienced during the trip, not as a planned target before departure.
Usage
Refers to the place one is currently visiting or has visited during a trip. Often used with the particle で (at) to describe things that happen while traveling. Unlike 目的地 (destination as a target), 旅先 focuses on the experiential aspect — what happens while one is there.

- 旅先から: from one's travel destination
- 旅先での出来事: events at one's travel destination
