2. to see off, to escort
To accompany someone who is leaving, or to escort them partway.
駅(えき)まで送(おく)ります。
I'll walk you to the station.
Using the 'see off' meaning
車(くるま)で送(おく)りましょうか。
Shall I give you a ride?
友達(ともだち)を家(いえ)まで送(おく)りました。
I walked my friend home.
子供(こども)を学校(がっこう)まで送(おく)ってあげます。
I'll take the child to school.
毎朝(まいあさ)子供(こども)を学校(がっこう)まで送(おく)ってから仕事(しごと)に行(い)きます。帰(かえ)りは妻(つま)が迎(むか)えに行(い)きます。
