Coming at the end of a process or series of events; the last or conclusive stage. Often used adverbially with に to mean 'ultimately' or 'in the end'.

USAGE:
Used as a na-adjective (最終的(さいしゅうてき)な) to modify nouns, or adverbially as 最終的(さいしゅうてき)に (ultimately, in the end). The adverbial form is extremely common in both spoken and written Japanese.
