Indicates that a time or event is approaching and will happen very soon. Combines もう (already/soon) with そろそろ (gradually/soon) for emphasis.

It's about time for the cherry blossoms to bloom.

An emphatic combination of もう (already/soon) and そろそろ (gradually approaching). More immediate and emphatic than そろそろ alone. Very natural in casual conversation when hinting that it's time to do something.
