Rice grains that still have their outer husk on, as harvested from the plant before threshing and hulling.
We dry the unhulled rice.
We store the harvested unhulled rice in the warehouse.
When you remove the husk from unhulled rice, you get brown rice.

Rice as it comes off the plant, still wrapped in its hard outer husk. After drying, the husk is removed to make 玄米(げんまい) (brown rice), which is then polished into 白米(はくまい) (white rice).
