来月(らいげつ)の始(はじ)めに友達(ともだち)が日本(にほん)から来(く)るので、とても楽(たの)しみです。

My friend is coming from Japan at the beginning of next month, so I'm really looking forward to it.

来月(らいげつ)から新(あたら)しい会社(かいしゃ)で働(はたら)きます。今(いま)は準備(じゅんび)で忙(いそが)しいですが、楽(たの)しみにしています。

I'll start working at a new company next month. I'm busy preparing now, but I'm looking forward to it.

来月(らいげつ) refers to the month following the current one and can function as both a noun and time adverb.

TIME REFERENCE SERIES:

先月(せんげつ): last month
今月(こんげつ): this month
来月(らいげつ): next month

The 来(らい) prefix means 'coming' or 'next' and appears in 来週(らいしゅう) (next week) and 来年(らいねん) (next year).

USAGE:
Like other time nouns, 来月(らいげつ) often appears without a particle: 来月(らいげつ)引(ひ)っ越(こ)します (I'm moving next month). Use の to connect to nouns: 来月(らいげつ)の予定(よてい) (next month's plans).
