casual contraction of てしまう (te-shimau); expresses completion of an action, often with a sense of regret, finality, or doing something unintentionally

食(た)べちゃった。

I ended up eating it (all).

I overslept again.

I threw away an important document by mistake.

ちゃう is the casual spoken contraction of てしまう:

Casual speech only. Use てしまう / てしまいました in polite/formal contexts.

〜ちゃ / 〜じゃ (as in 言(い)っちゃだめ, "you mustn't say it") is a different contraction, of ては / では.
In Kansai speech, ちゃう also means 違(ちが)う ("that's not right").
